THE SCS GROUP represents the California Table Grape Commission, California Prune Board, California Tree Fruit Agreement, United States Apple Export Council, Food Export USA Midwest and Northeast, Pear Bureau Northwest in India and Washington Apple Commission in India region (including Bangladesh and Sri Lanka) as in-country trade representative. Activities include encouraging importation, building distribution channels, media activities and generating consumer and trade awareness of these products.
THE SCS GROUP provides promotional services to the International Prunes Association, France and International Olive Council, Madrid (2007) in India. Activities includes conducting journalist workshops, road shows in different cities, organize successful international events, conduct school quiz programs across the country, and also maintain media desk and develop database of important health and nutritional contact from all over the country, conduct different media activities and place different media releases on a regular basis.
THE SCS GROUP has immense experience and exposure to different international and national level trade shows. It includes experience of managing the Indian pavilions at the 49th, 50th, 51st, 52nd and 53rd Fancy Food and Confection Show, New York, Bio Fach America 2007-2008, USA and BioFach Nuremberg 2007-2008, Germany and Asia Fruit Logistica 2009, Berlin on behalf of Agricultural and Processed Foods Export Development Authority (APEDA), Ministry of Commerce, Government of India.
THE SCS GROUP in association with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS), New Delhi organized a trade day “Release the American Spirit” in 2001. The trade day was aimed at promoting American Wine and Food products in India. The event was organized as a concurrent event of the Indian Food Show AAHAR'2001 for providing a platform to the American companies to display their products to very assorted and targeted trade-oriented visitors and provide them with an opportunity to taste their products.
