THE SCS GROUP conducted a detailed market and consumer research on behalf of the Almond Board of California. The report included background research on almond consumption and trade and made recommendations to increase consumption of almonds in India (September 2001 till March 2002). Almonds are by far the largest US agriculture exports to India. India being the fourth largest consumer of California almonds.

THE SCS GROUP also conducted an investment analysis for Perdue Farms, Inc. of USA for establishing a presence in the Indian poultry market. Perdue is the third largest poultry companies in the US with revenues over $3.5 billion. Activities have included market assessment, investment strategy, and recommendations for potential partners, distribution and storage strategies, preliminary launch of product in India, promotion to trade. The survey include the perception of various target groups like farmers, traders, paddy processors, agricultural scientists and government officers about various aspects of hybrid paddy.
