Himachal apples get a fresh bite  (9/29/2005, The Indian Express)

The next Himachali apple season could stretch round the year. In a first in the country, the state government has cleared a multi-crore project for the establishment of ‘Controlled Atmosphere’ (CA) storage and a cold-chain network in the four districts that comprise the apple belt. The Gujarat-based Adani Agri Fresh Ltd, which plans to invest Rs 167 crore in the project, has already identified three spots for the CA stores.
